Financial Accountability

Big Lakes County is accountable to its residents and tax payers for the conduct of its financial affairs.

Big Lakes County is also accountable to the Minister of Municipal Affairs for the Government of Alberta for ensuring compliance with all requirements in the Municipal Government Act pertaining to financial administration.

To ensure this accountability, the County will make available free of charge to any of its residents, tax payers or other stakeholders copies of the following documents:

These documents may all be obtained from the County Administration office.
